As quoted from Pocket-Lint, Tuesday (12/07/2011), while addressing at the Microsoft Worldwide Partners Conference, Ballmer talked about all things related to Microsoft including Windows Phone 7.

"The phone? Our sales are still small, but this year is hard enough. But you will see many developments in the market this year," said Ballmer.

Ballmer's words are clearly focused on its cooperation with Nokia products, namely Windows 7 Phone. It says that Windows updates 7 Phone Mango will be present at Christmas this year, with 500 new features.

Microsoft today continue to put pressure on Google and Apple to do a lot of new announcements, as well as released a new update to its product line phone OS.

analyst firm Gartner predict that the market share of Windows 7 Phone will rise to 5.2 percent in 2011. But it said also that the Windows Phone will not move from fifth in 2011. Also predicted that the Windows Phone will last in that position until 2014.
