A remarkable prototype of a flexible smartphone is made of electronic paper has been created by talented Canadian researchers.

PaperPhone, so called, can do all things like smartphones that there is now such a message and receive calls, send, play music, or display the e-book.

Gadget triggers different functions and features when it can be folded and bent at an angle or side. "Everything will look and feel in five years,"said the inventor Dr. Roel Vertegaal.

The device comes from a collaboration between researchers at the Human Media Lab at Queen's University Canada and Motivational Environments Research Group at Arizona State University.

"This computer looks, feels, and operates like a small interactive piece of paper," says Dr. Vertegaal in a statement. "You interact with it by bendingto the the phone ,turned the corner to turn the page ,or write on it with a pen ."

millimeter-sized prototype was built from the same electronic ink technology used in Amazon's Kindle e-book. It also has a flexible sensor and touch screen which interprets the image and text written on it
