Researchers from Canada have successfully created a prototype of a smart phone called electronic paper, PaperPhone. This fully functional smartphone for voice calls, send texts, play music.
In fact, PaperPhone can be used as an e-book and be able to store and interact with a larger file format.
But unfortunately, this device does not provide adequate touch input. To perform its functions, the phone that the paper should be bent, folded and bent at each corner.

This smartphone is a collaboration between the Human Media Lab at Queen's University in Canada and Arizona State University.
Researchers produce thin devices whose size is only about one millimeter. PaperPhone made of e-ink technology is the same used in the e-reader.
