Delicious considered one of the promising web 2.0 service owned by Yahoo. Services 2.0 refers to second generation of Web-based services, such as social networking sites, wikis, communication tools, and folksonomies that emphasize online collaboration and sharing among users.
A statement posted at Delicious site says that Hurley and Chen have direct experience of millions of Internet users.
Delicious will be part of a new company named by avos. Vision Hurley and Chen make the site more enjoyable and easier to store, share and discover more sites that contain content and be able to handle information overload.
An article in GigaOM technology blog explains that services like Instapaper, Evernote and Delicious Twitter taking over the space. These sites provide real time information flow.
