Mashable on Monday (6/20/2011), reported that Apple has developed software that allows the iPhone camera does not function while in the venue of music concerts or sporting events. In fact, the patent for this software already didatarkan by Apple since 18 months ago.

This software will detect when the iPhone camera is being used. When that happens, infrared sensors mounted on the venue in question would be on and off while the camera function. While other functions such as SMS or a phone call can still be used.

In addition to preventing the concert and sporting events broadcasting illegally through various sites, especially YouTube, Apple could be looking for new revenue sources by charging iPhone users to record the event.

The news came to light not long after Apple released the iPhone unlocked version 4, aka without a contract with a particular operator. This immediately raises the issue of the presence of the iPhone 5, who had been busy talking since early last year.
