It's helpful! BlackBerry Bold 9900 was enhanced by OS 7 for better operation

SINGAPORE - Research In Motion (RIM) decided to release a new operating system, OS 7, for the BlackBerry Bold 9900. Though initially the company owner was only planning to launch BlackBerry development version of OS 6, which is 6.1. But lately RIM realizes that the upgrade they did on the Bold 9900 is quite large, so finally decided to release a version of the OS that really new. "We made significant changes to the Bold 9900, not only in terms of hardware, but also its software," explains RIM Carrier Product Manager for Southeast Asia Legal Rick Ho who met some time ago.



"The main thing that distinguishes OS 7 from previous versions is the support of NFC technology (Near Fields Communications). With this feature you can make a payment transaction by simply touching mobile phones on the means of payment," continued Rick.

"Not only do the payment, NFC can also be used BlackBerry users to exchange contact BBM. Instead of typing the fuel pins, you simply put your BlackBerry phone with your friends," he added.

In addition, OS 7 also experienced a significant graphical development with the presence of Liquid Graphics, an enabling Bold 9900 has a user interface that is faster and responsive.
Meanwhile, in terms of its hardware, Bold 9900 look a little different, though retaining the iconic design of the BlackBerry. BlackBerry Bold 9900 is claimed as the thinnest with a thickness of only 10.5 millimeters and weighs 130 grams.

"With so many features and advantages of the Bold 9900, we do not want just release the OS update to version 6.1, but the version that is really new," added by Rick.
