Most truly Wanted Smartphones in the U.S.

Nielsen recently has issued their latest survey of the most sought-after smartphone in the United States. In July-September 2010, the greatest preference of consumers who want to buy the new smartphone is the Apple iPhone (33% of respondents), followed by Android-based smartphone (26% responded) and the RIM BlackBerry (13% of respondents). The survey, conducted in January-March 2011 results are different from the previous Android-based smartphone ranked top (31% of respondents), followed by Apple iPhone (30% of respondents) and the RIM BlackBerry (11% of respondents)






Preferences shift purchases of new smartphones in the United States is quite interesting to watch. Of all types of smartphones, Android is the only one that preference continues to increase and others decrease. And according to Gartner, smartphones purchasing preferences are realized with half of those surveyed who eventually bought Android-based smartphone.
