LAS VEGAS - Sending cell phone in 2011 is predicted to reach a new record. According to IC Insight report, an estimated 1.55 billion mobile devices shipped in 2011.

These results indicate that an increase of 8 percent, where an increase in shipments of 1.4 billion in 2010. IC Insights also predicts good growth is expected to continue through 2012 which reached 8 percent.
Launched by Cellular News, on Wednesday (15/06/2011), but after 2013, predicts IC shipments will occur cycle starts to slow down. In 2014, sales of mobile phones is estimated to reach 1.79 billion units, about 26 percent higher than in 2010.
Smartphones accounted for approximately 25 percent of total mobile phone shipments in the first quarter of 2011 compared with 16 percent in the same quarter the previous year. In 2011, the total smartphone shipments estimated to grow 60 percent to 440 million units, after rising 56 percent to 275 million by 2010.
Between 2009 and 2014, smartphone shipments are expected to increase 37 percent to 845 million units by the end of the year.
Nearly half of all mobile handsets shipped in 2014 (47 percent) expect some kind of smartphones, up from 19 percent in 2010.
